Motion Graphics Artist - Julio Argueta
What’s up! My name is Julio Argueta and I’m a Motion Graphics Artist in the New York City area.
While studying at SUNY New Paltz, I focused primarily on video editing. Post graduating I freelanced and found myself working in many fields as an editor, photographer, and motion graphics artist. Through my efforts I was able to work for Verizon as a 2D animator. During my time at Verizon, I have created many different animations ranging from videos that play in their stores, all the way to advertisements playing in Times Square. I have lead and contributed to animation toolkits for many different campaigns and phone launches. All this experience has allowed me to grow as a motion graphics artist to where I feel it is the field I am most adept in now. Thanks to this experience I help lead an amazing team of animators that I am grateful to call coworkers and friends.
When I’m not working, I am an avid gym rat and photographer. My love for working with cameras has stayed with me since college and still find myself constantly behind the lens. When I’m not at the gym or working, you can find me looking for new restaurants to try or places to travel to.
